Athol Bay is located on the western side of Bradleys Head; just below the Taronga Park Zoo. A good anchorage in a Northerly Wind with great views of the city. Athol is a big wide anchorage and relatively free of rocks.
Taylors Bay is located on the Eastern side of Bradleys Head; just below the Taronga Park Zoo. It is a peaceful spot (but smaller) anchorage with views beautiful bushland and a short swim to the beach. Do not anchor near the rocks as shown on the picture above.
Situated at the base of Hermit Bay within the Sydney Harbour National Park, Queen Beach is a small isolated beach surrounded by the Heritage listed Strickland House.
Offering a breathtaking view of Sydney, Milk Beach is one of Sydney's Eastern Suburbs well-kept secrets.
With spectacular views of the Opera House, Harbour Bridge, and Sydney City it is magical both during the day and after sunset. Farm Cove and the adjacent Botanical gardens was the location of Sydney's first farm grown by the crew of the First Fleet in 1778.
No license is required but if you have no experience on boats, we recommend hiring a smaller boat for an hour or two to get used to the water and equipment aboard. If you have chartered boats before or have experience, you should be fine aboard our bigger boats.
Yes ! Michael and our Groodle Jasper having fun in the sun. We are happy to invite your small and medium sized dog aboard our boats!
Your hire period is fixed and probably can not be extended in summer months, so if you start late, you are still expected to come back on time.
Yes, please bring easy "boat food". We suggest sandwiches, rolls, esky with ice and drinks, crockery and cutlery. Sorry we are not permitted to use LPG gas, so BBQ's are not permitted.
The skipper needs to stay under 0.05% alcohol limit at all times. The crew can drink responsibly.
