Living in a confined space can be challenging. a focus on cleanliness, organisation is balanced by the needs of dealing with nature, unforeseen circumstances and safety and health issues.

Safety is paramount. Crew are trained to use all safety equipment aboard like safety harnesses, inflatable life jackets, personal EPIRB, protective clothing. You will be taught how to handle fires, evacuations, medical issues, man overboard and storm situations. We conduct regular radio communications with marine authorities along the coast.
All aspects of basic to advanced sailing is covered. This includes helming the yacht, sail trim, use of ropes and rope handling, sail reefing, tacking, gybing and spinnaker use are practiced.
You will be taught to understand the wind and how it effects the yacht in calm to storm conditions.
The yacht is equipped with GPS and Chart plotter, crew will be trained in the use of compass bearings, chart plotting and position. We will commit to sun sights using sextant and electronic tables (weather permitting). We will find the star constellations and track their positions like the ancient mariners.
Port entry and bar crossings. Port stops allow guests to experience the safety, navigational, marina berthing or anchoring protocols. We enjoy coming ashore for a well earned shower and meal at the marina!
Engine checks, rigging checks, rope and sail repairs are taught aboard. We will train you on ropework, knots, basic equipment servicing, check of electronics, battery health and charging. We will monitor use of fuel and water for safety and comfort.
